The present address works just fine..
It points to the same address..S Blake St & Neely Dr S Pine Bluff, AR 71603
As I remember, didn`t Highway 79 pass by the Zebra drive-in?
I see the configuration now, I used to live on West 28th Street and I would walk to work at the Zebra. I would not recognize the area now.
A more accurate address for this theater is 2002 S Blake St, Pine Bluff, AR 71603. This points directly to the entrance road.
Please update.
Was there any zebra crossings in this drive-in?
The Zebra was completed in September 1953, according to a two-page spread, with photos, in the March 5, 1955 issue of Boxoffice. The drive-in was named for “the record-winning local high school football team,” and it took that theme to extremes. “As a further tie-in with the football team, ticket takers at the boxoffice are costumed in the team’s football uniforms, complete with helmets.”
