Photograph taken 11th December 1938 shortly after the Pilot cinema opened. Here is viewed on a bleak rainy day the Art Deco designed facade, for some reason the pair of recessed poster display apertures either side of the stepped entrance were never fully utilised during the Pilot’s duration.
