The Wayne Theatre was open in 1935. A small theatre seating 200 patrons. It is on the corner of SW Center Street and W. James Street. It was operated by Cooke Theatres and closed in the mid-1970’s. The building is still standing with the marquee removed but otherwise in fair shape.
