The 4-screen Movie Palace Cinemas was opened in 1983. By 1989 it had expanded to 8-screens. The Movie Palace Cinemas had 12 auditoriums with stadium seating in 1993. It also had digital projection and sound, digital 3D plus other amenities. The Movie Palace Cinemas was operated by Republic Theatres which has theatres in Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana. It was closed on November 6, 2022.

Closed permanently following the November 6, 2022 showings due to light business.
This replaced a triplex theater a mile away, but unfortunately, I don’t know any information involving the nearby Cinema 3 rather than the address.
This opened with four screens in 1983, expanded to eight in 1989, and expanded to 12 in 1993. It was originally operated by Issac Boutwell, who operated the theater until his death in 2022.
