The Star Theatre opened prior to 1913 when a second Star Theatre replaced it on April 5, 1913 at another address given here. The name was changed to the Chief Theatre in the 1940’s. The Chief Theatre is listed in the 1955 Film Daily Yearbook with 367 seats. Not listed in 1956.
