The Richmond Drive-In was opened in 1951 with a car capacity listed at 600. By 1960 it was operated by Chakeres Theatres. The drive-in was closed by the mid-1980’s.

Found it. The address is 2677 Berea Rd. which is south of Richmond and just north of the “Y” where HWY 25 and HWY 421 meet.
The drive-in appears on a 1950 aerial photo and seems to have made it into the 1990s before being closed and demolished.
Today, it is commercial property and no trace of the drive-in remains. http://tinyurl.com/n9ke4fs
A closer address (at least for Google) is 2677 Berea Rd, Richmond, KY.

This is the address of this Drive-in. Now Tri-state Transit Motor Company (trucking).
Please update. The address above is incorrect. The screen base is still visible on the property.
The Richmond Drive-In opened in 1951. I just recently found a 1950 aerial view showing the theater under construction.
Boxoffice, Jan. 31, 1966: “M. C. Hughes, McKee; Frank Carnahan, Ormond Beach, Fla., and Glenn Peters, Richmond, are the new owners of the Richmond Drive-In on Berea Road. The airer was purchased from stockholders in Cumberland View, Inc.”
The 1997 aerial photo seems to show a go cart track was constructed on part of the ramps.
