Greater Huntington Theatre Co. opened the Park Place Cinema 7 in 1981. It became the Park Place Stadium Cinema 11 by 1999. The cinema features all stadium seating, all DLP digital projection, RealD 3D, Dolby digital 7.1 sound in four auditoriums, wall to wall curved screens and first run attractions. It was closed by Greater Huntington Theatres on May 6, 2024. It was reopened on April 26, 2026 as the Park Place Stadium Cinemas, with 9-screens operating, and the other 2-screens used for private events and special screenings.

Saw “The Doors” there in 1991 also saw the original “Child’s Play” in 1988 when I was a Junior in high school. It was fairly new in ‘88 so it couldn’t have been open for too long then.
I saw “Back To The Future” and “A Chorus Line” there in 1985 so it was open then.
