Located in Stapleford, Nottinghamshire, adjacent to the railway bridge on Derby Road at the northeastern end of the town. The Palace Cinema was opened on 3rd March 1913. It was equipped with a Picturetone sound system in 1930. It was operated by Sam Graham, who operated a small circuit of cinemas in the Nottingham area.
Later operated by the Levin’s Circuit, the Palace Cinema was closed on 2nd April 1960. It became a bingo club for many years, but has since been demolished, and the site is an empty lot in 2013.
