Jubilee Cinema

Located in Swanscombe, near Dartford, Kent. The Electric Cinema was opened by February 1923. It was constructed out of Corrugated iron. It had a 14 feet deep stage and two dressing rooms, and these were used when variety shows were produced. By 1930 it was equipped with a Kalee sound system. In 1934 it was re-named Tivoli Cinema, and around June 1935 was re-named Jubilee Cinema.

It was closed and demolished in 1939 to build the Wardona Cinema on the site (it has its own page on Cinema Treasures).
