The full name of this twin screen art house cinema is Arsenal – Institute for Film and Video Art. It is funded by the Federal Government to develop international film and video art. It is housed in the Filmhaus, in the 2nd basement level of the Berlin Filmmuseum in the Sony Center development. The cinema moved from its original home on Welserstrasse in 2000.
