The present Nordlicht (“Northern Lights”) opened in March 2009, although it is not clear whether this was a reopening of an existing cinema, or a brand new venture. The modest auditorium is situated in a row of shops beneath an apartment block. It is cosy and intimate, and hosts small scale live events. There are photographs and a video tour on the cinema’s website. Digital projection was installed in June 2013.
