This small cinema, said to be definitely at the lower end of the scale for design and comfort, opened in 1919 and closed on 2nd September 1961. After use as a bingo hall the building was demolished and a community centre now stands on the site.

In 1926, architect John McAlery carried out alterations to the cinema for Sandro Cinema Ltd.
