The Radiant Kino was opened in 1954. All 580 seats were on a single floor. It was the leading cinema in this Herzen St. Paulis city centre location, and was equipped with CinemaScope and 4-channel stereophonic sound and air conditioning. By 1963 it was operating as an adult cinema.
In 1983 it was divided into 5-screens, all showing adult films. It later closed and became an arcade. In 2008 it was an erotic boutique.
