Located in St. Helens, Lancashire. The Picturedrome was opened in 1911. In 1912 it was taken over by the Signet Picture Supplies Co., who also operated the Gymanasium (a cinema) on Duke Street.
Around 1918 or 1919 it was taken over by Savoy Picture House (St. Helens and Ashton in Makerfield) Ltd. and was re-named Savoy Picture House. It was equipped with a British Thompson Houston(BTH) sound system in 1929.
The Savoy Picture House was closed in 1934 and was demolished to build Associated British Cinemas(ABC) new Savoy Picture House.
