Previous Names: San Pedro Theatre
There was a Plaza Theatre operating at 168 High Street in 1914/1915. It was replaced by the New Plaza Theatre at a different High Street address, which opened in 1918. In 1922 the manager was Carmine Bevilacqua. The New Plaza Theatre was equipped with a Robert Morton organ in 1922. It was briefly re-named San Pedro Theatre in 1931. The New Plaza Theatre is listed in the 1934 Film Daily Yearbook as closed with 462 seats.
