Pavilion Cinema

Located in Emsworth, to the south of Havant, Hampshire. Originally the Town Hall, it was screening films by 1914. In 1930 it was equipped with a British Thomson-Houston(BTH) sound system and was re-named Pavilion Cinema. By 1944 it was operated by Mayfair Circuit (Control) Ltd.

The Pavilion Cinema was listed as (Closed) in the 1953 edition of Kinematograph Yearbook. In 2013, the building is in use as the Greenhouse Café.

The former cinema is recessed from the square and missed by Google earth. The business card shows what the remaining frontage looks like as a café.
