Showbiz Cinemas - Swan Hill

Showbiz Cinemas is a brand new boutique cinema location which opened for Christmas 2013. After Swan Hill’s only cinema, the Regent Theatre, closed permanently and was demolished to become the new Aldi Supermarket, there was no cinema from 2006. Showbiz Cinemas identified the need and opportunity to provide Swan Hill and surrounding district with a state of the art, comfortable and fully digital cinema location after almost 5 years of its sister company, Twilight Cinemas ran outdoor cinema screenings in the summer at Riverside Park and during the Winter on select days in the Town Hall.

Showbiz Cinemas aims to screen all the latest Hollywood blockbusters and supplement with the best of independent and select art house films to provide maximum movie going choice to the Swan Hill community. The cinema is also the best location to provide full digital conferencing, seminars and other non-cinema events including live sporting telecasts.

Showbiz Cinemas is also fully digitally accessible, providing best practice Closed Caption and Audio Description facilities in all cinemas subject to these services being available on the respective film screening.
