Opened June 1, 1990, the Cinemark Movies 5, located at the County Fair Mall. From September 6, 2010, when the State Theatre closed, until June 28, 2017 when it reopened, the Cinemark Movies 5 was the only cinema operating in Woodland. It has been converted for digital projection and sound, but lacks stadium seating. It competes with two Regal multiplexes a few miles away in the university town of Davis.
The Cinemark Movies 5 was closed on June 3, 2019.
