Located in Bayamo in the province of Oriente. The Cine Cauto was originally opened as the Cine Hidalgo. It had been re-named Cine Cauto by 1959.

This theater was named after the longest river in the country.
The cine “Cauto”, was named Cine Hidalgo until 1962 from it’s owner name: Ricardo Hidalgo Pelegrin. Castro’s regime took over the theater in 1962, changing it’s name to cine “Cauto”.
