Photo added courtesy of Angela Marie. It appears to have also been named the New Elite Theatre at some point, and operated until 1914.

Research credit Tom Walsh.
Two links confirming it’s existence and the name change to New Elite in 1914.

“There are some useful results in Google Books. Page 24 of the November 23, 1912 Moving Picture News has a couple paragraphs about the theater. The whole issue is available to read online, although browsing through it may be a little awkward. (Google combines many issues into one digital file.) I attached a screenshot of the relevant portion.”

“Page 147 of Historic Movie Theatres in Illinois, 1883-1960 claims that the Edgewater Theatre was renamed the New Elite in 1914. That page should be available to preview, but I attached a screenshot of that, too.”

“I came across one reference to a theater at 1130 Bryn Mawr in the July 2, 1914 Chicago Tribune. It is a classified ad that says, "Theatre - Edgewater: Dandy North Side house. 1130 Bryn Mawr. Will sell all or half interest; time given. Call 5 or 8 p.m.” I don’t see any newspaper references to the New Elite."
