The Western Drive-In was open in 1954. It had a car capacity of 300 and was owned by the Sorenson family. The drive-in closed in the early-1980’s. It has since been demolished.

Found it. The drive-in was located south of the town at the intersection of HWY 91 and 248th Street on the SW side. You can just see a few sections of the ramps left. https://goo.gl/maps/JvFVe
It is the SE section of the intersection, not the SW.
A more accurate address for this theater is now 1100 E King St, Chamberlain, SD 57325. This points to Willrodt Ford. The entrance road is next to the dealership. It is partially there with the drive in itself located NE of this location.
