The Bosworth Community Hall / Bosworth Theatre opened April 5, 1935. It was a new build facility costing all of $7,000. The first advertised show was Jean Arthur in “Have a Heart” supported by an Our Gang short, “Mike Fright.” Harold Wright was the final operator and appears to have closed it in December of 1954. The building was purportedly still around in 1988.
This most likely opened around May 1935.
Pretty sure this has been demolished. Streetview is blurry and terrible, but unless this is the white plaster thing (which looks smaller than the building in the picture), this is gone.
