The Movies 4 was opened by Mann Theatres July 13, 1979. It was taken over by Cinemark July 24, 1992. Closed on December 11, 1998, when Cinemark opened its new Tinseltown 17 on 82nd Street.

Cinemark picked up operations of this theatre from Mann on July 24, 1992.
