Located in the north-east of the city centre. The Excelsior Cinema was opened on 19th July 1910. Seating was provided on orchestra & balcony levels. It was remodeled in 1952 to the plans of architect M. Edouard Lardillier. It was closed in 1969 and was converted into a Franprix supermarket.
