Far-West

Located in the north of the city centre. The Far-West was opened in the late-1940’s or early-1950’s. It lived up to its name by screening mainly Western cowboy films. By 1984 it had gone over to screening adult films and had been renamed Far-West Video-boy. It closed around 1990-1991 and was demolished in 1993.

Offices now occupy the site.
