Located in Stainforth, near Doncaster, South Yorkshire. The Stainforth Cinema was opened prior to 1934 when it was listed with 894 seats. It was operated by Doncaster & District Cinemas Ltd. and was equipped with a British Thomson Houston(BTH) sound system. It was still open in 1954, when the seating capacity was 725.
By 1963 it had been re-named Savoy Cinema and was operated by the Leeds based Star Cinemas chain. The Savoy Cinema had closed by 1980.
