The Wigwam Drive-In opened in 1953 and at that time it was owned by Mr. Harry Lankhorst. In 1963 it was sold to Mr. B.N. Brown and then in 1974 it was sold to Mr. Gary Mossenbren. Car capacity was 200 cars. In 1970 the screen was destroyed by a tornado. The drive-in reopened the following year. It was closed for good in 1982 and demolished in 1986.

The Drive-In was located north of the town on at the present address of 4299 Birch Avenue on the west side of the road. https://goo.gl/maps/F6E7F
