This theater opened shortly after the Meadowbrook Mall opened. It was located next to where the current Cinemark Meadowbrook Mall theater is located, but its only entrance was inside the mall itself. This theater replaced a 3 screen theater located at what was then called Hills Plaza on US-50 that is now occupied by a Home Depot. The last movie I saw there was “We Are Marshall”. I haven’t lived in Bridgeport since 1992, but my parents lived there until 2006.

A November 19, 1990 article in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported that Cinema World had recently acquired this theatre from Hoyts Cinemas.
