Located in Coleshill, Warwickshire. The Kinema was opened around 1914, with seating for 300.
Around 1938 alterations were made and the seating capacity was increased to 408. It re-opened as the Cameo Cinema and was equipped with a Gyrotone sound system. The proscenium was 30 feet wide. Apparently a projectionist at the cinema disappeared soon after the outbreak of World War II and it was found out later that he was a Nazi sympathizer. The Cameo Cinema was re-named Tatler Cinema by 1954 and was operated by the Coventry based Orr Circuit. It was closed in the early-1960’s. It became a electrical showroom for many years.
Today it serves as the Cameo Suite, a banquet hall/conference centre for the adjacent Coleshill Hotel.
