The Palm Drive-In was opened on December 18, 1953 with Jane Russell in “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes” & Tyrone Power in “Pony Soldier”. It was operated by Julia Raulerson. In 1958 it reopened as the Ulmerton Drive-In. It was soon renamed Outdoor Theatre and was closed in 1960.

Address is 6060 Ulmerton Road. Opened as Palm Drive-in on 18/12/1953 with “Gentlemen prefer blondes” and “Pony soliders”. Reopened in 1958 as Ulmerton Drive-in as closing for a brief time. Also called Outdoor Drive-in. Closed in 1960. Demolished(date unknown?). Site is now occupied by various businesses.
Ulmerton Road is not correct. This drive-in theater was located on Clearwater-Largo Road south of Clearwater near Bellair.
