On the passing of Harry L. Nace on June 30, 1953, it was noted in the Arizona Republic that in 1914 Mr. Nace was manager and then the owner of the Lamara Theatre. In 1915 he joined with Joe Rickards to create the Rickards-Nace Amusement Enterprises.
In 1929 their 26 theatres were sold to Publix Theatres, with Nace remaining as general manager. Publix agreed to let Mr. Nace operate his own theatres in the smaller towns.
According to the Sanborn Maps, the Lamara Theatre sat next to the First National Bank and later the former theatre building was combined into the bank.

A nocturnal photo of the Lamara Theatre appears at the top of page 85 of Vanishing Phoenix, by Robert A. Melikian (Google Books preview.)
I’m sure the book got the address wrong. I’ve found a reference to the Lamara Theatre being very near Donofrio’s, a confectionery and ice cream parlor, and Donofrio’s was at 21 E. Washington (the candy factory on the Sanborn map.)
