The Morrisville Drive-in was a relatively small theater located on the west side of Business US Route 1. It was opened in April 1954 when it was operated by Bob Baranoff & Tri-States Buying and Booking service. It operated until the early-1980’s, and today it is occupied by a small retail center.

This was one of several Budco Theater from Doylestown, Pa. I was a district manager and this was one of mine. Nice little D-I. If you drive around behind the shopping ctr in the field you will still the steel post for the screen tower.

Address is slightly off. Now a Family Dollar Discount Store.
Fun note from the March 27, 1954 Motion Picture Herald:
When you build a drive-in, be certain it’s all in the same township! After spending $90,000 on the Morrisville Drive-In theatre, Falls Township, Pa., Robert Baronoff discovered the other day the last four rows are in Lower Makefield Township. And in Lower Makefield Township’s zoning laws, drive-ins are illegal.
Wow that’s funny. Move that fence in guys, LOL.
