Liberty Theater

The Columbus Theatre was opened by 1928. It was listed in the 1932 edition of Film Daily Yearbook as (Closed). By 1941 it was operating as the Liberty Theater. The 1950 edition of Film Daily Yearbook lists it at 23 E. Liberty Street. The building is still there and is a store.

During World War Two, the price of admission for children was two crushed tin cans to aid in the war effort according to older residents who remember the theater.
