Located in the south Manchester district of Hulme at the corner of City Road and Malvern Street. The Lyceum Cinema was opened around 1913. Around 1929 it was equipped with a Western Electric(WE) sound system. By 1937 it was part of the H.D. Moorhouse Circuit. In 1939 it taken over by the J.F. Emery Circuit, they closed the Lyceum Cinema in 1959.
Later demolished, housing was built on the site.
