On June 27, 2014, Schulman’s Movie Bowl Grille made its new home in the previous Cinergy Cinema, which originally opened on September 24, 2010. According to the Corsicana Sun, the staff of the 8-screen, 1,483-seat theater was retained.
Also on site is Billy’s Grille, which offers full service lunch, dinner and drinks. Designed by DVA Architecture, there are many plans in the works including the construction of a bowling center and party room.
It was noted that the Schulman family started in the movie business in 1908 and owns four theaters across the state.

DVA Architects, the Atlanta firm that designed the Cinergy Cinema, was taken over by Dallas-based 5G Studio Collaborative in 2012. Though DVA’s Facebook page hasn’t been updated since then there are still a few photo albums associated with it, and this one has photos of the Cinergy Cinema in Corsicana.
