Opened in 1968 on the previous site of Éclair Cinema and Central Cinema. In the 1970’s it was part of the art cinema row together with the Lorange, Lorraine, Losuar and Loire.
The Lorca Cinema is the only survivor of those 5 “L” that were synonym of cinephilia in Buenos Aires.
