Mid Border Arts

Located on the borders of England and Wales in Presteign, Powys. The Assembly Rooms was showing films by 1934. It had a 24 feet wide proscenium and was equipped with a Morrison sound system. By 1944 it had been equipped with an AWH sound system.

By 1947 it had been re-named Cinema. The Cinema was still open in 1963, but had closed by 1966. It is now a community arts centre named Mid Border Arts.
