Studio Movie Grill opened its first East Texas location in the Village at Cumberland Park on April 30, 2015, with “Avengers: Age of Ultron". The Tyler Morning Telegraph noted they had a benefit the previous weekend for the East Texas Food Bank. Patrons who donated non-perishable food for the Cans Film Food Festival received a free ticket for any movie that day.
The theater offers in-theater dining, premium spirits and local microbrews, which are also available in one of the lounges.
Hodges & Associates designed Studio Movie Grill’s 20th location with 12 screens and 1,500 seats.
