Located in Tring, Hertfordshire. The Empire Picture Theatre was opened on 29th July 1916. It was designed by Aylsebury based architect Fred Taylor. Seating was provided for 250 in the stalls and 64 in the circle.
In 1932 it was re-named Gaiety Cinema. It was closed in late-1939 soon after the outbreak of World War II and never re-opened.
The building became an engineering works and today is occupied by a signwriting company.
