Located in the Broadwater suburb to the west of Busselton. The Busselton Drive-In opened on 3rd December 1960. Closed on 15th May 2015 with “ParaNorman”, and “The Bourne Ultimatum”. I think the drive-in closed because they coudn’t afford digital equipment? The drive-in was heritage listed by the Busselton Shire council(date unknown). It is rumored that the drive-in might br replaced by a retirement village.

There is footage of the closing of the Busselton Drive-in from the GWN7 news report on youtube (busselton drive in 170315)
Opened on 3/12/1960. On the 50th anniversity, the drive-in screened the movies “The Picture show man” and “The Man from Snowy River” and also a newsreel taken of Allan Jones when he operated a cinema museum in the Allan Theatre(now Orana Cinemas) in Busselton. There was also a sale of memobrilia from the drive-in(speakers, film reels, etc).
