The Northampton Drive-In opened in 1965 on the south side of Wannerenooka Road behind the Bowling club(lawn bowls?). The drive-in closed in sometime between the 1970’s and early/mid-1990’s. After closure some of the equipment was sold to the Sun Pictures, Broome. The land became vacant - the screen and concession building demolished, the ramps slowly decaying and becoming overgrown with weeds. By 2019 housing had been built on the site.
