The Hillview Drive-In at Massingham Street W., Kellerberrin was opened on 24th May 1963 with a capacity for 150-cars. It was built and managed by Arnold Cook, who at the time was running the Regent Theatre, Kellerberrin, which closed on 9th May 1963, just before the drive-in opened. The drive-in screen was 60ft x 25ft 10 inches and 16ft above the gound and it was the first all-steel screen in Western Australia, made by a local steelworks. The screen featured Zinc anneal sheets pop rivetted to the metal frame, and it stayed perfectly square despite the Meckering earthquake. The drive-in was leased to another operator in 1983 and closed in June 1985. By 1997 a house had been built on the site and only the ticket box remains.

The Hillview Drive-in had a local bus service for the residents of Kellerberrin to get and to from the drive-in(there must have been a sitting area for those without cars?).
The exhibitors were A.A. & M. Cook(1963 to 1983). Constructed and managed by Arnold Cook. Leased to another operater in 1983(name unknown?).
