Thomas Molloy’s ill-fated Times Theatrette was opened on the 4 August 1933, in the basement of London Court, immediately adjacent to Molloy’s Metropole Hotel & Theatre Royal in central Hay Street. A number of unfortunate court cases occurred in the wake of its opening, all widely reported upon.
