Located in Frizington, Cumbria. The People’s Palace was opened by 1927. It was re-named Palace Cinema by 1933. It had an 18ft deep stage and two dressing rooms. It was equipped with a Mihaly sound system.
The Palace Cinema was still open in 1966. It had closed by 1980, and was converted into a supermarket.
