The town of Useless Loop(a closed town) was built to serve the Shark Bay Salt Joint Venture on Heirrisson Prong. The first screenings were in the old community hall, run by Barry Beeson, the electrical contractor.
The Ray Bengough Hall opened on 9th April 1988. Unknown if screenings are still operating in the old community hall or the Ray Bengough Hall.
