Located on the northeast side of Trent Street between Tudhoe Street and Trimdon Street. The Little Gem Theatre opened in 1984 in the old power station(second one) built on the site of the original power station. The Little Gem Theatre was advertised for sale in 2012 for $39,000(Australian) and sold on 20th October 2012. The Little Gem Theatre is still showing films.

Now called The Betty Terry Memorial Theatre. The original power station building open in 1914. The second power station building opened in the 1920’s and closed in 1960 and used by the SES(State Emergency Service) as a storeroom until 1981 or 1982. Little Gem opened in 1983 with 100 seats from the Theatre Royal(Boulder, Coolgardie, or Perth), replaced with bigger seats in 1997, so there is now only 76 seats. The projectors came from the old Wagin Drive-in. The website is www.cinematourista.com .
The SES storeroom closed in 1982 or 1983. The little Gem Theatre opened in 1984.
