Georgia Theatre Company opened this theatre as the Mall 8 Theatres on August 18, 2005. Later two screens were added and the name changed to the Carrollton Stadium Cinemas 10. It was taken over by Regal September 4, 2015.

Georgia Theatre may have taken over the theatre, but it opened as a Cobb Theatre back in the 1980s. I remember driving Bobby Cobb back to Birmingham from an inspection tour of the unfinished site. Rod Curlett was in charge of design and construction.
