Opened May 18, 1950 with June Haver in “The Daughter of Rosie O'Grady”. This drive-in was located directly across Webster Street in Alameda from the also-demolished Island Drive-In.
It was closed November 6, 1968. The former site is now home to the College of Alameda. Like many Northern California drive-ins, nothing remains that would indicate a drive-in ever operated at this site.

Actually, the drive-in that was located across from the College was the Island Drive-in, which was demolished in 1998. The Alameda Auto Movies was located where the college is now, but was demolished long before the Island Drive-in was.
