I have an advertisement from the Toronto Star for “The French Connection” dated December 24, 1971 for this movie theatre. It was closed on October 4, 2007.

This theatre’s final day was October 4, 2007. Its last movies include Rush Hour 3, Bratz, Underdog, No Reservations, License to Wed, Transformers, Surf’s Up, and Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End. It no longer lists movies by the next day.
The Oshawa Centre Cinemas most likely opened its doors on April 15, 1971 with “Love Story” in Screen 1 and Walt Disney’s “The Barefoot Executive” in Screen 2. It started life as a twin, and was renamed Oshawa Centre 4 when both screens were divided into a quad during the early-1980s.
