This photo was in the March 1953 issue of Albuquerque Progress, published by the Albuquerque National Bank. The caption read: “New Duke City Drive-In Theater at Carlisle and Menaul Blvds, NE: All-State Theaters,” and then it probably would have said “owners” followed by the contractor name, but the last line of the caption on both sides of that page appear to have been cut off before printing (the shaped backgrounds are still present).

Since the Albuquerque Progress never included copyright notices, as far as I can tell, it should be in the public domain. I found it at New Mexico Digital Collections, which said it came from the Public Library Albuquerque Bernalillo County, which asserted that it does not hold copyright. But it added that, “Photo rights are reserved to the Albuquerque Museum.”
